Maya Brown

Maya Brown has spent almost 10 years electing progressive democrats to offices and running issue-based campaigns up and down the ballot in Florida. Her political experience is matched by her fundraising and public spokesman skills. A known consensus-builder, she has collaborated with politicians, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates to help solve and effectively communicate some of our state’s most pressing issues and help nonprofit organizations grow. Her legislative and public affairs experience in both Florida’s Capitol and local government helped shape historic quality of life and criminal justice policy reforms.

Maya has been awarded with the 2020 Florida Politics’ Influence Magazine’s ‘30-under-30’, 2016 International Fundraising Conference Diversity Scholar from Association of Fundraising Professionals, and 2016 Florida Politics’ ‘30-under-30 Rising Star’. She has also been nominated for the 2019 American Association of Political Consultants’ 40 Under 40 Award.

Lindsay Pollard

Lindsay Pollard works as the Finance Consultant with Diverse Strategy Group (DSG). DSG’s clients have included Shevrin Jones for State Senate, Emma Collum for State House and Renee Gordon for Circuit Court Judge. In 2018, Lindsay was Andrew Gillum's deputy finance director for his gubernatorial bid.

Prior to co-founding DSG, Lindsay has worked as a finance consultant for Broward County (Fla.) Commissioner Dale Holness’ re-election campaign, Sandra Ruiz for (Doral) Mayor and the Broward Democratic Party. She had also served as the Finance Director for Randy Perkins for Congress, Annette Taddeo for Congress and the Miami-Dade Democratic Party. In 2014, she served as regional finance director for Charlie Crist for Governor.

Lindsay is a graduate of Florida A&M University, with a degree in Journalism. She earned an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University.

Jasmen Rogers

Jasmen Rogers (she/her/hers), Founder and Principal Visionary at Folding Chair Consulting, has worked for several years at the intersection of racial and gender justice advancing legislation, co-creating curriculum , organizing movements towards social change, and building a base of women of color committed to Reproductive Justice.

Jasmen has worked collaboratively across the state of Florida to build with over 3,000 Black women and girls towards a shared political agenda and mobilized over 12,000 Floridians pushing back against attacks on reproductive care.

She is a former Florida House of Representatives candidate, has appealed to the United Nations on behalf of families impacted by police violence, and was formerly the Florida Director of Black/African-American Outreach on the Warren for President campaign.

Jasmen is also an alumnus of Maven Leadership Collective and serves as Chair of the Broward County Commission for the Status of Women and a member of the Wilton Manors Community Affairs Advisory Board.
